SUITLAND, Md. (September 10, 2021) The Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) honor guard flanks a memorial wreath during the 9/11 20th anniversary ceremony at the National Maritime Intelligence Center. Eight ONI shipmates serving in the Chief of Naval Operations Intelligence Plot in the Pentagon perished during the terrorist attacks that day: Cmdr. Dan Shanower, Lt. Cmdr Vince Tolbert, Lt. Jonas Panik, Lt. Darin Pontell, Petty Officer 1st Class Julian Cooper, Angela Houtz, Brady Howell, and Gerard Moran.
