COVID-19 has impacted us all. Some may feel anxious, confused, and overwhelmed. Combined with other challenges in our lives, these feelings could be impacting us in ways we may not realize. The risks of avoiding metal healthcare include decreased force readiness, increased suicide risks, and increased security concerns. Help is available and all are encouraged seek help and to keep an eye out for those who may need help. The Navy has adopted a “no wrong door” philosophy to seeking mental health services, leveraging all available options for military and civilian personnel to receive mental health support when needed. Talking it out is a necessary first step.
