Due to a lapse in federal funding, the National Maritime Intelligence Center is operating in a limited capacity.

  • Civilian employees who excepted from the furlough are authorized to conduct their normal duties.
  • Civilian employees are are non-excepted should follow their supervisor's guidance until further notice.
  • Active duty military personnel are to continue in a normal duty status.

As a rule, you should consider local guidance from ONI (disseminated via At Hoc) as more authoritative than regional guidance from OPM unless OPM’s guidance is more restrictive.
