All visitors to the Suitland Federal Compound (SFC) and the National Maritime Intelligence Center (NMIC)

must obtain a visitor’s parking pass at the SFC guard station located at SFC Gate 5 (Silver Hill and Swann Road).

NMIC Visitor Parking

  • Parking is limited on the NMIC compound and typically fills before 0800.
  • Visitors may park in unreserved spaces in the paved Visitor Lot in front of the NMIC, if available.
  • Do not park in restricted parking spaces or lots unless specifically authorized by the ONI Police.

Overflow Visitor Parking

  • Additional visitor parking is available in the large, open parking lots across Swann Road from the NMIC (labeled Lot 3 and Gravel Lot on the map).
  • After parking, visitors may walk along Swann Road to the NMIC Main gate or use the ONI shuttle service.

Shuttle Service (M-F, 0530-1830)

  • The ONI Shuttle (white bus) stops at several locations on the Suitland Federal Center (see map).
